A Provista 'Villa' Framed Balustrade with a Euro handrail provided a safe and stylish option for the new Educare Childcare centre in Auckland.

A Provista Balustrade Systems Framed Aluminium Balustrade provides a stylish and safe solution to a new Educare Childcare centre in Auckland. This and other Provista styles are very well suited and have been popular with other early education and school facilities around NZ.

The new centre in Shelly Bay Road, Beachlands is an attractive, comprehensive facility and is a part of the BestStart education and care centre network. Every BestStart centre works with a unique community and as such the service has its own centre philosophy that reflects the place and community of the people it serves. Beachlands has enjoyed considerable growth in housing, infrastructure and community facilities so the timing was right for a new childcare centre to provide for the increased population in the area.

Having used Provista on a number of previous projects, Design Network, who designed the centre, chose Provista Balustrade Systems to provide a modern balustrade with clean, open lines to the deck areas. The balustrade provides a safe barrier between the decks and attractive playground areas. The solution chosen is Provista’s ‘Villa’ Framed Aluminium Balustrade with a Euro Handrail. The balustrade is finished in a Matt Flaxpod powder coat to match the joinery colour and complement the colour of the facility and natural timber structures.

The Villa balustrade solution looks great on modern or classical structures and, in this case, has provided a practical and modern structure that complements the light, airy, open design and look of the facility. The building work was undertaken by Pink Construction and Provista worked closely with the team at Pink to install the balustrade solution as the different areas were completed.
