Leading Australian outdoor furniture designers Tait were thrilled to partner with Mokum in bringing to life the alfresco area of media personality, Rebecca Judd’s, new forever home in Melbourne’s bayside.

“A playful, contrasting palette of white, flamingo-pink and sky-blue”

The major renovation saw the tired Spanish colonial home transformed into a chic, contemporary abode – boasting palatial architectural black steel framed arches and elegant herringbone paving throughout. Textural grey walls and paving with lashings of deep green planting provide a neutral backdrop to showcase Tait’s signature outdoor pieces. Tait’s Trace, Tidal and Linear collections were selected in a playful, contrasting palette of white, flamingo-pink and sky-blue. Referencing Judd’s affinity for pink and blue (with the colour scheme featured throughout each room in the home), the alfresco area echo’s Judd’s distinctive and fresh style. With each piece, material and finish selected for its timeless aesthetic, luxurious comfort and durability in Australia’s harsh climate, we are sure many long, fun family summers will be spent in the Judd’s idyllic new outdoor space.

We’ve developed a deep-seated knowledge of interior textiles in our 110-year history. We’re interested in different ways of living, and we’re constantly exploring what fabrics can bring to people’s lives. And life has always informed what we do.

We believe in fabrics that have a unique viewpoint, born from a curiosity about the world. Fabrics with a sense of purpose. Fabrics that are crafted with passion, and embrace the lives spent on and around them. Fabric that spans trends, generations and cultures. The fabric of life.

At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
