Wellness & Fitness Centre

The Body Wellness & Fitness Centre for the staff of retail brand Cotton On, located at the brand’s global headquarters in Geelong, is a warmly layered resort-style design that elevates the workplace wellness space. Timber plays a major role in the interior design, with stained walnut providing a beautifully welcoming finish via sculptural wood partitions and detailed panelling on walls and cabinetry. Natural, textural elements continue with mid-century cane furniture and rattan lighting, ample indoor planting, and a palette of olive, blush and white across travertine flooring. Plaster finishes on spa and bathroom walls provide a soft effect that is in keeping with the space’s inviting look. The building, created by Greg Natale in collaboration with PTID, encompasses various spaces for health and wellbeing, from meeting and meditation areas to pilates, yoga and spin rooms to a running track through the campus. But it is the luxurious resort aesthetic achieved by its furnishings that best reflects the brand’s holistic approach to work–life balance and nurturing its people.
