A harmonious blend of heritage and contemporary design, featuring a relocated house as the second story, creatively integrated with a new ground floor, and enhanced with seamless rimu flooring throughout.
A seamless merge of the old and the new. An existing house was relocated onsite as the second story of a new ground floor level. The second level was cut in half and bent like a boomerang to form the stairwell area and bridge between the two sections. The existing flooring was rimu which we patched and added too, to create a seamless flow between the renovated and new areas.
