Bushy Knoll RP0.66 consisted of a 32m long double anchored UC and timber lagged wall. The 250 galvanised UC piles were 11m long with a 7m embedment and a 4m retained height. There are 2 rows of Ried bar anchors, one row 1m below the top of the wall and a second row 3m below the top of the wall. The average anchor length is 17.6m. Timber lagging ranged from 150mm thick down to 50mm thick near the top of the wall and retained subsoil drainage, structural imported fill and in-situ material.

Construction started towards the end of July 2022 and was complete by the end of October 2022 with a fair amount of rain through-out the program which made for a challenging build. A great working relationship with our Client, Gisborne District Council, our project managers, Civil Project Solutions and a competent and well skilled site team led to the successful delivery of this project. A project delivered well within the program and below the Clients bid budget.
