With a range of clinics throughout the North Island, Canopy Cancer Care is a leading New Zealand private clinic for adult cancer patients. They specialise in providing care for patients requiring cancer treatment with chemotherapy, immunotherapy, antibody therapy, hormone therapy, and other targeted therapies. Their Ormiston centre is the latest in a series of exceptional fitouts delivered by Focusplan.

The Ormiston facility features two enclosed treatment rooms, five additional treatment chairs, three consult rooms, a spacious reception and waiting area, a family room, clean and dirty rooms, a nurses’ station, administrative areas, a large refreshment station, and a staff kitchen.

In partnership with Pilkington6 Design, Focusplan created a centre that exudes comfort and luxury, reflecting Canopy Cancer Care’s commitment to providing the highest standard of patient care.

The reception area offers comfortable seating, complemented by deep, earthy tones and nature-inspired finishes, ensuring ultimate relaxation for patients. A sweeping curved wall, adorned with a shimmering textural wallcovering and recessed lighting, guides patients toward the consult rooms. These rooms are private yet filled with natural light to ease patient anxiety, featuring authentic timber vanities and soft seating to enhance the calming atmosphere.

Overall, the facility strikes a balance between clinical functionality for staff workflow and providing a relaxing atmosphere to put patients at ease.
