Crowne Plaza, Christchurch banner

The Crowne Plaza Hotel is located in the vibrant heart of Christchurch City, opening its doors in 2017 created a major boost in the city’s tourism scene.

The 17-storey building was converted from an earthquake-damaged Forsyth Barr office tower into one of Christchurch’s largest executive-style hotels, with 204 luxurious rooms opposite Victoria Square.

The two-year project was constructed by Lanyon Le Compte, who entrusted in New Zealand Frameless Glass to supply and install the glazing concepts of the refurbishment, which included the outstanding staircase & balustrading in the main lobby, showers and mirrors in each room along with the Colombo street canopies and stunning bronzed glass in the lifts.

This is one of our largest commercial projects to date, and one we will never forget.
