The client for this waterfront property on Pittwater was open to a number of different materials and finishes for the comfortable journey down to the water’s edge. This was achieved with a landscape design that included materials such as corten steel, sandstone cladding, timber cladding and cobble pavers. The gentle grade of walkways and stair placement surrounded by a mixture of exotic, low maintenance planting has created an iconic property on Sydney’s waterways.

The use of curves in both the front yard and backyard design has softened the design creating areas of interest. Look out decks, timber bench seating and a curved fire pit area are just some of the features in this architectural design.

Various mature trees such as grass trees (Xanthorrhoea), bottle trees (Brachychiton) and dragon trees (Dracaena Draco) have been used in the design to enhance the plant selection.
