A harmonious blend of simple shapes and contrasting colors, the Hikuwai House in Wanaka emphasizes energy efficiency with its striking black exterior cladding and classic white interior walls.
We believe that architecture doesn’t need to be complicated! Simple shape helps to achieve the right proportions and is also advantageous to energy efficiency of the building. Our aim with this design was to highlight the contrast between black exterior cladding and classic white interior walls. We are keen to hear your thoughts.
