Homebase is set to become Christchurch's largest bulk shopping centre, spanning 10 hectares upon full completion. The development will include a Woolworths supermarket, a department store, and various other large-format retail outlets, designed to meet the growing demand for convenient, high-capacity shopping options. To support efficient logistics and goods handling, the project incorporates innovative loading solutions, including Elevating Docks. These systems are ideal for buildings without integrated loading docks. When operational, the lift raises to align with truck height, ensuring smooth and safe transfer of goods between the platform and delivery vehicles.
