The Johnsonville School Block 14 project, completed on January 1, 2024, involved the application of Duratec Zeus Ironsand Matt to various exterior components, including sheet aluminium, fascia flashing, roof penetration flashings, and saddle flashings. Subcontracted by Tararua Roofing, fabricated by Metric Sheet Metals, the powder coating was done by Powder Coating Services, an accredited Dulux powder coater, to provide a durable and long-lasting finish for the school’s exterior features.
The Ironsand Matt colour was chosen for its timeless, weathered aesthetic, blending seamlessly with the surrounding environment while providing protection against the elements. The total coated components ensure that the school’s exterior remains well-maintained and resilient against fading, corrosion, and wear over time.
The warranty for the coating was issued on July 24, 2024, ensuring the reliability and superior performance of Duratec Zeus colour range for exterior applications in commercial and educational environments.
