Jordan Springs Public School is a $55m NSW state government schools infrastructure project, completed in 2020. Austral Plywoods played a key role in supplying more than 2000m2 of prefinished ariaply (in Blackbutt).
Austral Ariaply is a prefinished plywood panel manufactured with Australian Araucaria (an Australian plantation specie). The exterior-grade Ariaply was finished with a unique three-coat system that provided durability along with an attractive outward appearance for the school buildings. The ready-to-install Ariaply panels have found applications for ceilings, soffits and internal walls, available in seven colours to suit any project – blackbutt the choice for the Jordan Springs school. In this particular project, the Ariaply panels were adhesive-fixed to metal framing.
