Award Winning Guest Bathroom

Multi-award-winning designer Celia Visser has added two more honours to her already long list of accolades by taking out the Auckland Chapter and the Runner Up Supreme Bathroom Award at last night’s gala event, held at the ANZ Viaduct Events Centre.

Visser was delighted with both awards, saying that it was “fantastic working with such a great client, who had trusted her creative judgment throughout the design process”.

The winning bathroom, one of five she designed for her client in his new home, was praised by the panel of judges for its “stunning use of colour, texture and materials”. They also liked the fact Visser had opted for a built-in bathtub, rather than using the ubiquitous stand-alone variety.

Competition in the bathroom category this year was extremely stiff, with a record number of entries from around the country. “To take out Auckland, the strongest region, is a fantastic achievement, and I have to thank my team for all their input and hard work,’ said, Visser. “This was a huge project for us, designing the kitchen, bar and all the bathrooms for my client’s new home. I’m extremely pleased with the result.”
