This kitchen draws on the textural richness of blue-sky quartzite, soft curves and beautiful Neoclassical detailing, where deep shadows and reflected light are carefully choreographed.

Toni seamlessly integrated Neoclassic touches and cohesive design detailing to create a welcoming exciting space, beautifully designed for entertaining and everyday family life. The island incorporates large double sinks and bins, with the hob bench behind curving around to meet an oven tower set flush with panels above, making use of the old pantry recess.
The kitchen transformation showcases a visually stunning, richly detailed and highly functional space for the homeowners.

With a challenging room shape and awkward recesses, the concept of the kitchen design was shaped for ergonomic space between the island, hob, and fridge walls, allowing ease of activity zones.

Celebrating the Neoclassic aesthetic, face-mounted bolection mouldings provide a classic detailing, delicately blending with the modern. These are scaled to suit the door’s proportions.
Framing the function, the round teppanyaki knobs are encircled with this moulding which then cleverly hugs the curve towards the ovens. Echoed above on the rangehood panel, the face mouldings likewise follow the curved form softly reflecting morning light into the kitchen room; emphasising light and shadow.
Vital storage continues under the island while casual dining to the table end offers visual connection to the pool and sun-drenched courtyard.
The island steps forward and down into a long stadium form, to perfectly rest within the diamond shaped room.
Supporting the table-island, Toni designed a custom black steel frame with back-to-back reeded glass insets, configured for safety and removability and sheathed in a smoke film for visual interest. Integrated bead lighting below the table follows the curve.
A key feature is the stunning navy-hued quartzite, complemented with a shimmery navy metallic and contrasting light joinery. The richly textural stone table has a unique ogee edge detail achieved with imported tooling and hand-finished.
The dedicated coffee zone integrates a hot water tap; another workspace for family to independently prepare. The custom black steel frame and reeded glass are mirrored here to match the table support.
A generous pantry with deep benches hides small appliances inside. Integrated vertical sensor lighting is incorporated here.
