No matter what special part of the country we are landscaping, the garden elements remain the same. They must be local and in context, and they need to enhance the connection between house and landscape, people and nature.

The landscaping exercise here was to connect the extraordinary buildings to the larger landscape, and to allow the work with the horses to be conducted with minimal distraction.

About the
Professional

With our strong commitment to collaboration, we embrace the perspective of our clients as well as that of the architects and the designers of the space. This pushes us to go beyond where others stop in the pursuit of exceeding our client’s expectations.

After the initial design phase, when the details of the vision for our clients gardens have been determined, the construction phase is when this vision is physically realised. Through over 32 years spent building over 1200 gardens, Michael Bates and his senior team have honed the skill of project management required to create stunning gardens to a fine art.

Managing the flow of work is a crucial aspect in enabling Bates projects to be delivered on time, and is a skill only gained through experience. This is why many of Australia’s leading landscape architects, landscape designers and interior designers trust Bates to deliver gardens they have designed - we never compromise on the final result.

At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
