Once again, this was the case for this particular client of ours. She wanted a new homestead on her farm, in a special location to maximise the view. She didn't want anything too contemporary, with her main focus being functionality with minimal maintenance. It needed to work well as a farm house, hosting a family of 6 in the future, or in her case, just a family of 2.

We incorporated things like:
• A wash house off the internal triple garage. This contained the laundry, a toilet and a walk in tiled shower so coming home wet and dirty from the farm was not a problem.
• A large roof covering an area by the back door where farm bikes, coats & boots could all be stored outside, out of the rain.
• A powder room for visitors.
• A large scullery which was also accessed from the garage for ease of getting grocery’s from the car.
• An Al fresco area off the kitchen which looked out over the farm.
• A separate lounge with a double sided wood burner.
• Extensive one way glass windows in the ensuite providing an amazing vista of the farm
