Extension of Timaru District Council building featuring a modern facade while preserving the original Edwardian Oamaru stone facade and art deco clock tower.
The extension provided for a significant open plan administrative space enclosed in a modern facade to the rear of the building. While the council buildings original Edwardian facade of Oamaru stone and art deco clock tower were both strengthened and its heritage and character preserved during the course of renovations.
