Toorak garden design is a timelapse collaboration with the architects who were originally commissioned to design the garden.

We were called in to rethink the feel of the garden providing a less formal approach to the outdoor space. The pool was retained from the architect's original landscape plan while we reinterpreted the hard surfaces and plantings.

We spent a great deal of time consulting with the stone suppliers in Port Fairy and Hendersons in Melbourne sourcing the right rocks to make the bespoke paving. Boulders were handpicked and cut to our specifications to create a unique surface at the front entrance and rear courtyards. The two stone benches and large standing stones were also carved from boulders and craned into position. The hard landscape is complimented by lush, flowing plantings to create an intimate space that reflects the changing seasons.

About the
Professional

Andy Murray Landscape Design is a Melbourne-based landscape design practice creating private gardens throughout Melbourne, the country, and coastal Victoria.

Working hand-in-hand with our clients to design landscapes that reflect their personal vision, curated by our years of experience.

We believe the best gardens are those that respond to the space and the people who use them, and we approach every project with an ethos of collaboration, transparency, and craft. We like to be closely involved with every one of our projects, no matter how big or small. We have a strong focus on collaboration and individual attention, from the initial meeting through to the completed garden.

At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
