A Nelson family Passive House built to be climate positive

As the central Nelson region’s only certified Passive House builders, Basham Building had their work cut out with this sustainable family home. We spoke to builder Lenny Basham to learn more about the project, and how it aims to achieve climate positive status.

With an R-value of 9.2 the walls provide more than adequate insulation from the cold, helping to achieve the passive house internal temperature standard of 20 - 22 degrees year round.
