Ask six designers to choose their favourite room and you'll get six very different answers. That's exactly how we like it. Our team covers the full spectrum, from Michelle's warm minimalism to Emma's fearless colour. Kirk's moody clubhouse sits alongside Hannah's light-filled calm, and Sam's old-world romance meets Sarah's heritage-with-a-twist. Some of our styles complement each other beautifully. Others couldn't be more different, and honestly, that's our secret weapon. When we sit around the table on a project, every idea gets challenged, refined and layered by people who see things differently. Nobody's taste wins by default. Your home isn't designed to look like ours. It's shaped by a team with enough range to understand yours, and the experience to bring it to life.

Sarah is a maximalist at heart!

Heritage bones, with a little mischief….

She's drawn to heritage details like panelling and cornicing, then breaks the rules with colour no one expects. Soft, dusty blues like Resene Nepal are her calm starting point.

Rich velvets in cobalt and chocolate, like the Freedom Chocolate Velvet couch, bring the drama.

She believes blue and brown belong together, that a ceiling deserves colour too, and that a home should feel layered, collected and a little playful.

Classic, but never too serious.

Hannah loves light and sophisticated kitchens

Hannah's happy place is light, calm and quietly considered.

She leans toward soft sage-greys, gentle stone tones and warm timber, so spaces feel fresh without ever feeling cold.

She loves the movement of marble through surfaces like Laminex Pietra Cloud. Then she adds warmth and pattern underfoot with something like Jacobsens Element XL Herringbone.

For Hannah, a neutral home is all about texture and subtle contrast. She's the one who'll talk you into a bronze tap and win.

Kirk’s passion for golfing comes out in the living room

Kirk likes a space that feels like it's been lived in for decades.

Think deep, moody browns like Resene Half Wood Bark, worn leather, warm timber and low lamplight. His style is part gentleman's club, part weekend at the golf course, and completely unpretentious. A great armchair like the Stacks Leather Chair is non-negotiable, and so is somewhere to put your drink down.

For Kirk, a room should feel solid, comfortable and built to last. Much like the way he runs a project.

Michelle loves a modern clean space!

Michelle is all about warm minimalism and the power of texture.

She gravitates toward creamy stone, travertine, linen and natural timber. Her palettes are quiet, but every material is doing the talking.

Pieces like the Coco Republic Travertine Coffee Table and finishes like the Tile Depot Nicolo Tile are her kind of luxury: sculptural, tactile and timeless.

She loves a space that feels like a retreat, with soft light, a fire on and nowhere you need to be.

Neutral, yes.

Boring, never.

Sam loves to match pattern, texture and warmth in design

Sam has a soft spot for old-world elegance with a confident twist.

He's drawn to grand details like arches, mouldings and chevron floors, paired with deep, inky colours like Resene Atomic.

Romantic botanical wallpapers from Arte soften the look. He loves warm brass, marble and lighting that glows rather than glares.

Sam's style is classic Parisian charm reimagined for real life: dramatic enough to make an entrance, timeless enough to never date.

Emma loves a pop of colour!

Emma has never met a colour she was scared of.

She loves bold stripes, unexpected pairings like berry and cobalt, and furniture with personality, whether it's a cheerful Ikea Blue Chair or a sculptural ECC Bocci Light.

Her style is joyful, expressive and a little bit eclectic, with mismatched pieces and art that makes you smile. For Emma, design isn't about playing it safe.

It's about striking spaces with a homely heart, and homes that look exactly like the people who live in them.
