Containing many natural oils, teak is a very sturdy and hard timber, meaning it thrives in furniture form.

Jati

Jati Furniture has always prided itself on the premium materials used to create all of our collections.

Each and every piece is crafted from sustainable plantation teak grown in Java, Indonesia and is monitored by the ‘Timber Legality Verification System’ to ensure that all exports are complying to the governments regulations.

It is important to use the best quality Teak in order for us to guarantee the best quality furniture and Jati has mastered the way this teak is treated during the entire production process.

This includes the initial drying process, gluing and dowels, types of joinery and further selected supports.

Our incredibly skilled craftsmen continue to learn new methods of working with teak, even after more than 17 years working in the industry.

We are so very warm-hearted to have access to such high quality natural materials, that are sustainable and can be shared with the world in such a beautiful way.
