A standout feature in this project is the incorporation of Neolith’s 12mm Mont Blanc, which graces the kitchen bench and splashback. This addition introduces a silken, textural element that enriches the space with a touch of elegance, seamlessly bridging the gap between chic design and the natural landscape.
Layering textures was important to capture that relaxed, easy living feel. Another focal aspect of the client’s brief was to curate a sense of flow throughout which strengthens the home’s connection to the family and wider landscape. Balance is everything: the angular architecture is softened with gentle curves throughout the home which harnesses this flow, along with that cohesive palette of materials and tones. - Matt South
The Waipa project is more than just a home; it is an oasis where the tranquility of country living meets the luxuries of contemporary design. Through thoughtful design choices and a deep understanding of the client’s lifestyle and love for nature, Matt South and Noel Jessop Architecture have crafted a space that is both breathtaking and inviting. This project serves as a beautiful example of how modern architecture can harmoniously blend with natural surroundings to create a sanctuary that caters to both the heart and soul.
