An Architectural drafter works under the guidance of a registered architect. Their role is to develop an architect’s ideas and concept sketches into working drawings. The title of “Architectural” drafter has sometimes misled clients to think that a business or individual is an architect. As a result, there are now more drafters with the title “Building Designer” or “Residential Designer” to ensure their qualifications are clear.
