What sustainable festivals are on in Adelaide?

Sustainability is a core part of who we are at SUHO. To celebrate that, we’re trying something new to highlight and support local events who emphasise sustainability and environmentally-conscious practices.

What sustainable festivals are on in Adelaide?

This FREE event is part of 2022’s Adelaide Festival lineup and is located in the Pioneer Women’s Memorial Gardens, Adelaide CBD. How does creativity and sustainability connect? Featuring a discussion on net zero festivals to how we can creatively respond to climate change. We recommend looking at the lineup of activities they have for the day to learn more about how to champion climate change.

WOMADelaide is a 4 day festival which happens every year in Adelaide which showcases artists from over 30+ countries! As well as an opportunity to delve into Australian music and cultural education, WOMAD prides themselves on being a green event. An incredible 97.7% of all festival waste is diverted from landfill with the aim to eventually be a completely zero-waste-to-landfill event.
