Boomtown l Hand Tufted Rugs

"Boomtown" rug by Lara Scolari uses a limited tonal palette of black, white, and sepia to convey the energy of contemporary urban city life and landscape. The three circular forms are indicative of a human figure moving through the inner-city streets, soaking up all the energy and rhythm of cosmopolitan life. The hints of gold scattered throughout the composition, beautifully offset by the monochromatic palette, emphasize the particles of energy simmering beneath the surface.
