A timeless design with its clean lines and sleek form, the Cassia is a striking addition to any home. Platform slats and a solid panel headboard give this versatile piece a distinctive profile that can seamlessly integrate with a range of bedroom styles. For a more minimalist look, this bed frame can be made without a headboard.

1% of all furniture sales are donated to Carbon Positive Australia.

This design is handcrafted with sustainably sourced, untreated Tasmanian Oak and hand polished with your choice of natural stain to produce a lustrous finish. It features our platform slat system, engineered to provide a supportive base for your mattress while maximising airflow.

As with all our furniture, each piece is custom-made and can therefore be individually tailored to your specifications. The headboard of this bed base will be adjusted to suit the height of your mattress. The current production lead time for this product is 10-12 weeks from the day the order is finalised.

When working with natural materials you can expect some variances in grain colour and texture and these may continue to change with age. Please note that product colours and grain can vary slightly to the images you see on the website due to variances in raw timber colour as well as the resolution/colour of your screen.

Guarantee & Product Care

All Timber Furniture made by The Natural Bedding Company comes with a 10 year manufacturers guarantee.

The Natural Bedding Company guarantee covers the following:

  • Manufacturing defect
  • Material defect

Cleaning your Tasmanian Oak furniture

Wipe down with a damp cloth to remove dust or any spills. Do not use furniture sprays or any harsh chemicals to clean as this may affect the colour of your furniture.

We advise trying to avoid exposing the wood to direct heat and sunlight for prolonged periods of time as well as maintaining consistent humidity in the space. This will help prevent excessive expansion and contraction of the timber. Over time, air and sunlight will cause a slight change in the colour of the timber and stain.
