Early 20th Century English Ebonised Mahogany Bookcase

$4,500

An elegant English early 20th century, ebonised mahogany vitrine/bookcase with astral glazed doors, two drawers and an aqua painted two shelf interior. Both top & bottom sections feature original hardware and working locks. The top section is screwed to the lower so it can be transported in two pieces if required. A lovely addition to your kitchen or living room. (N.B. my louvre blinds have reflected in the glass).

About the
Seller

European Antiques & Furnishings (est 2004) is a specialist dealer in 19th and 20th-century European Antiques with an accent on predominantly French, English, Belgian, Swedish and Italian furniture and decorative items.

Meredith’s four showrooms are based in her home/showroom villa at 21 Ariki Street in Grey Lynn, Auckland.

Due to my business being in a residential area, viewing is by appointment only. (This is a council regulation). Please don’t let this deter your visit, you are more than welcome to come and browse at your leisure.

In addition to the Grey Lynn showrooms, retail stores have been opened with Francis Hooper and Benny Castles of WORLD. The stores offer a selection of hand-picked European mid-century and antique decorative items as well as the most exclusive beauty and skincare brands from around the world.

At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
