A staggering number of surfaces are manufactured using quartz, the dust of which contains respirable crystalline silica (RCS). RCS is often referred to as the new asbestos because it’s a proven cause of silicosis, a terminal respiratory disease.
Eco Surfaces are Tested by Australian NATA Certified Labs to ensure performance in Australian homes.

By sourcing recycled glass to manufacture our products, eco surfaces don’t rely on quarried minerals that negatively impact the environment.
The average eco surfaces benchtop contains the equivalent of approximately 450 standard glass bottles. Sourced locally in Australia, we support the circular economy and keep these bottles out of landfill.
