Features

Robust & Elegant
A sturdy aluminium frame makes HÅG Celi both strong and lightweight, welded to ensure high strength, durability and a long life – protected by a 10-year guarantee. Its rugged interior is encased in an elegant design by three leading design studios in collaboration with Flokk’s internal design team.

Lightweight & Agile
HÅG Celi is effortlessly stackable. Its lightweight build also makes it easily transported. Row connectors are also available to create flawless rows of chairs, with table hooks available upon request.

Environmentally Conscious
HÅG Celi is a continuation of our pioneering sustainable design process. More than 75% of the materials used in the chair are sourced from post-consumer waste streams and/or renewable materials. 94% of the plastic is post-consumer Polypropylene (PP) plastic, with 75% of the aluminium used also post-consumer. All components are held together with accessible fittings, making it easy to dismantle, repair and sort for recycling at the end of its life.

Dynamic Seating
The HÅG inBalance® is a unique feature that addresses the sedentary nature of conference seating. HÅG inBalance® technology encourages subconscious movement of your legs and lower body whilst seated, promoting better focus and wellbeing during long meetings and presentations without causing distraction or damage to chairs.

Mix & Match

Aluminium components are available in Silver, Black, Blueberry or Blush Rose, whilst plastic seat and back options are available in complimentary colours Slate, Black, Crowberry and Chestnut.

Combined with a full selection of upholstery options as well as the Ash wood veneer, with the HÅG Celi you can mix & match your feet, frame, seat, and back colour choices to create a design to suit your needs.

The HÅG Celi colour palette also harmonises with the HÅG Tion chair, allowing you to mix and match both chair designs in the same environment.

Sustainability

Ground-breaking design for sustainability

HÅG Celi was born out of the same design project as the HÅG Tion, benefiting from the ground-breaking research & technology to create our first full range of coloured polypropylene (PP) plastic components made from recycled post-consumer materials – literally turning household waste into high-end furniture.

New for the HÅG Celi is an exciting partnership with Hydro, Norway’s world-leading producer of recycled aluminium, committed to making high-quality sustainable solutions. By using 75% post-consumer aluminium in the chair, not only are we reusing waste materials, but using 82% less energy than creating virgin aluminium, whilst potentially reducing CO2 emissions by 88%.

The result is a uniquely sustainable conference chair, comprising more than 75% post-consumer and renewable materials*, designed for disassembly, with energy efficient production.

Design Collaboration

HÅG Celi was conceived as part of a large workshop involving three separate design studios that included, Anderssen & Voll, BIG-GAME, Hunting & Narud, along with the Flokk Design team.

“Designed to cater the needs of public buildings, it is extremely light, easily stackable, and meets the toughest requirements in the market. True to HÅG’s expertise, it drives an ergonomically correct posture for its users and its invisible, self-setting, tilt mechanism makes it surprisingly comfortable and dynamic to sit on, even for long periods of time. The strong aluminium profile structure with its simple geometrical lines contrast with the gently shaped shells that offers a gentle and dynamic support to the user. These details together naturally create a gentle and visually calm interior landscape.” - BIG-GAME - co-designers of HÅG Celi
