Welcome to Revive Timber Designs, where our passion for crafting beautiful furniture is matched only by our commitment to sustainability. Our story is one of passion, craftsmanship, and a deep respect for our environment.

It all began when Darrin, with over three decades in the building industry, witnessed the staggering amount of timber waste that was ending up in landfill for building projects, renovations in particular.  This prompted him to take action, turning a passion for sustainability into a mission.  Turning his back on building and going back to his roots of solid timber joinery he began to create beautiful pieces of contemporary furniture from salvaged and sustainably sourced timbers thus, Revive Timber Designs was born.

We are proud to introduce the new custodians of this vision: Garth & Rijks, both hailing from the land formerly known as Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe.

Rijks brings a wealth of experience as a qualified tool, jig, and die maker. His journey into woodworking blossomed later in life when he discovered the beauty of reclaimed timber. He began creating unique pieces for family, nurturing a passion for craftsmanship that resonates deeply with our ethos.

Garth's path took root in his school years, where he embraced woodworking. His early career saw him working for a company that produced pallets and cable drums. When a local church reached out for help in providing beds and basic furniture for underprivileged university students, Garth answered the call by crafting around 30 beds on his future mother-in-law's verandah. This act of kindness led to a surge of commissions for bespoke furniture, setting him on a path of creativity and community service.

At ArchiPro we recognise and acknowledge the existing, original and ancient connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to the lands and waterways across the Australian continent. We pay our respects to the elders past and present. We commit to working together to build a prosperous and inclusive Australia.
