Scope of use

The HB510 is designed for supporting timber handrails on interior or covered exterior stairways in both residential and commercial settings. Suitable for handrails 30–50 mm in diameter and installed into solid substrates. Ideal for architectural applications where a refined bracket is required. Suitable for: Interior and exterior and marine applications where corrosion resistance is required.

  • Material: 316 marine-grade stainless steel, cast (and bead-blasted finish). 
    • Designed for round profile handrails (approx. 30 mm-50 mm diameter) — suited for timber or similar handrail profiles. 
    • Suitable for interior, exterior and marine applications, where high corrosion resistance is required. 
    • Minimum suggested spacing: 600 mm, Maximum: 800 mm centres. 
    • Includes all fasteners (anchor for concrete/masonry or wood framed walls). Epoxy anchoring required (not included). 
    • The product complies with structural design standards AS/NZS 1170.1:2002 and International Building Code (IBC) 2003 for a 200 lb fall rating.
