Insulated Plasterboard

Accumen Insulated Plasterboard is a high‑performance rigid phenolic foam insulation board factory‑laminated to a 10 mm GIB® paper‑faced plasterboard lining, creating a single 3‑in‑1 internal lining, insulation and vapour‑control solution. The phenolic core is a closed‑cell, fibre‑free Greenstuf® Phenolic Foam Board, bonded to the plasterboard under controlled factory conditions to deliver excellent thermal performance in a slim profile while maintaining Group 1‑S fire performance for interior lining applications.

Accumen Insulated Plasterboard is manufactured using quality systems and processes aligned with those applied to CodeMark‑certified phenolic insulated linings, but this product itself is not currently CodeMark certified. Thermal and fire performance is based on phenolic insulated plasterboard systems tested to AS/NZS 4859.1:2018, AS 1530.3 and ISO-9705 and designed to achieve Group 1‑S classification for internal linings.

Product Features and Benefits

· High‑performance rigid phenolic insulation with low thermal conductivity (λ = 0.023 W/m·K at 15 °C for the insulation core).

· 3‑in‑1 solution: insulation, interior lining and vapour‑control layer in a single board.

· Group 1‑S interior lining classification (ISO 9705) when used as part of a tested wall/ceiling system.

· Fire performance to AS 1530.3: zero spread of flame and very low smoke development for the phenolic core.

· Fibre‑free closed‑cell core – no loose fibres, easy to cut and handle.

· Slim build‑up allows improved internal floor area compared with bulk insulation and separate lining systems.

· Resistant to water vapour transmission, helping manage internal moisture risk when detailed correctly.

· Compatible with timber and steel framed construction, and direct‑fixed to masonry or concrete substrates.

· Manufactured with a CFC/HCFC‑free blowing agent, with zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and low Global Warming Potential (GWP).
