Millboard Antique Oak

A premium ultra-realistic wood-look board, suitable for decking, cladding and more. Millboard is a revolutionary outdoor product, unlike composite decking or WPC as we know it. Millboard is a moulded mineral board product, with a core composed of natural minerals bonded in a polymer resin and long fibre reinforcement for added strength and durability. It has a unique Lastane® surface which is durable, non-slip, fade resistant, anti-abrasive and designed to withstand the harsh New Zealand environment.

Millboard's Antique Oak lengths have the appearance of an attractively aged tropical hardwood deck such as ipe or teak. This rich warm colour is both timeless and versatile, sure to complement many applications. Antique Oak is part of Millboard's 'Enhanced Grain' collection - moulded from selected smooth timber which gives the appearance and texture of real wood while providing a stylish understated look. Each board is hand coloured to recreate the subtle nuances that only natural wood can give. Please note that Antique Oak boasts more tonal variation per individual board than any of the other colours in the Millboard range; this is intentional in view of providing a beautiful and authentic timber look.

Millboard is a market-leading UK company producing the world's first wood-alternative decking made from a resin-mineral composite, complete with a unique Lastane® surface that is hand-coloured and moulded from real timber. Millboard was founded with the idea of fixing a problem, that for all its beauty, timber decking had inherent flaws. Instead of looking at the market, the Douglas family used their experience of moulding from natural materials and working with polyurethane. The solution created something beautiful: wood-free decking that outperformed natural timber but, through being moulded from real oak, retained an authentic, natural look.
