Recycled or reclaimed timber is often used in interiors to preserve the heritage and the authenticity of the home. In NZ, natives such as Rimu, Kauri and Matai were often used in the structure and flooring of the home and can be still structurally sound after 100 years!
Provided it is sound and meets our moisture requirements, The Woodsmiths are your solution to turning these items that would otherwise be disposed of into a feature piece for your new interior. From old wine barrels to a slab from a tree felled on your property, we can turn these into benchtops, vanties, shelving, tables and more.
Contact us to find out how we give timber a new lease of life and make it a loved feature in your home for another lifetime!
