Weinor Smaila Folding Arm Awning boasts a sleek cubic design complemented by attractive decorative side end caps. Its compact, installation-friendly structure embodies both technical excellence and modern aesthetics. Particularly suited for balconies and small patios, Smaila combines the best features of other Weinor cassette awnings. Equipped with the LongLife arm and Weinor Opti-Flow-System®, it ensures impeccable fabric positioning. With easily insertable brackets and decorative side end caps featuring five attractive colours, Smaila offers a distinctive look. You also have the option to coordinate the side end caps with the awning frame colour. This versatile awning can be seamlessly installed on roofs, walls, or rafters, featuring pre-configurable insertable brackets and removable cover caps for maintenance, utilising a convenient snap-in technology. Furthermore, it maintains a low fabric deduction dimension, ideal for covering large fabric areas.

Adding to its appeal, the Smaila LED enhances the ambience with 30,000 hours of energy-efficient, atmospheric lighting. Integrated seamlessly into the cassette, these LED lights emit a pleasing glow through special glass lenses, remaining illuminated even when the awning is retracted. Maintenance and individual LED light replacements are hassle-free, requiring no disassembly of the awning.

Peter Meyer commenced manufacturing blinds in 1987 after 15 year’s experience as both a retailer and an interior decorator. He applied that knowledge & experience to set up to manufacture high quality custom made blinds for the trade.
Today Blinds by Peter Meyer is regarded highly as one the best manufacturers of quality blinds in Australia.

Family Owned and Run

The business is now run by his sons, Simon and Damien with Peter becoming chairman of the Board. This generational change has been extremely successful with the company now strengthened with additional energy, innovation and ideas. Both Simon and Damien bring extensive experience to the business with over 30 years combined experience considerably adding to the day to day expertise & customer service. With this background, our management and strong team of experts understand the industry, indoor and outdoor, from both the retail and manufacturing perspectives..
