Our Taiko basalt is from a different quarry to our local bluestone. This is why it has a redder hue, which creates a different look, photographed is the Christchurch Art Gallery which features large panels, creating an industrial pattern. The stone selected for this particular project also features a mixture of veining and character in the rock creating interest and natural patterns.
