Safe for Engineered Timber: Warmset's low working temperature (between 22°C and 26°C) makes this application safe with the use of engineered timber (always check the wood's manufacturer instructions)

Low Build-Up Installation: The thin heating mat integrates easily beneath engineered timber floors using adhesive or levelling compound, maintaining a minimal floor build-up (10mm in total).

Fast Heat-up Time: Approximately 25% active radiant surface per square metre. Being closer to the finished floor implies that the heating response will be faster than in-slab applications.

Using the same Warmset’s proprietary multilayer laminated heating strip as Gold, Black is protected by a durable polypropylene sheath and embedded on a reinforced fibreglass mesh. The internal construction is identical to Gold.

By utilising polypropylene in place of polyimide, we are able to deliver Black at roughly 20% less than the Gold, while maintaining the same exact heating performance.
