Plush organic latex and soft Australian Downs wool makes the wool & latex overlay perfect for those who need a little more comfort but aren’t quite ready to invest in a new mattress. The thickest overlay in our range, it’s hand-stitched into an organic cotton and hemp cover to provide a luxurious feel to your current mattress. Thoughtfully designed, the overlay fits comfortably under any fitted sheet or mattress protector and can be rolled up for convenient storage.

The Wool and Latex Overlay is approximately 6cm thick, with a plush feel. The 3.75cm carbon neutralised certified Organic Latex layer gives cushioned support while the additional Untreated Australian Downs Wool provides a softer feel, making it less spongy than the Organic Latex Overlay. 

A further benefit of the wool is that it is naturally thermoregulating, so will work to allow heat to be dissipated evenly, keeping you warm in winter without creating additional heat in summer. An overlay is a great option for adding an additional layer of cushioning to a mattress that is feeling too firm, so do be aware that it does change the feel of the mattress.

Your natural overlay is made to order and will generally take us between 5-10 working days to complete. Single and Double sizes have changed with the introduction of more European brands to the market. Please advise which of the above lengths your single or double mattress is required to be.

Product Care & Guarantee

All Organic Latex overlays come with a 5 year manufacturers guarantee.

The Natural Bedding Company guarantee covers the following:

  • Manufacturing defect
  • Material defect

This style of overlay will pack down over time. If a body imprint is left in the overlay, roll it up each day until the wool has packed down evenly.
