Photographic Prints

Photographic prints are wall prints featuring fine-art photography which can be used in almost any space. High-resolution photographs allow a space to be brought to life with any scene.

Photographic prints are available in a wide range of shapes and sizes. Large photo prints can be used to create grand statements. 

They can come in a wide range such as wooden or metal frames set in glass, or on photo canvas. Picture frames can serve to outline print, making the image stand out, and can be used to bring out the accents of the room to create a consistent theme. 

Canvas prints, on the other hand, are more versatile. Due to their lack of frames, they’ll continue to look great for years as home styles change. 

They are also more durable than framed pictures and due to their satin-matte finish, they produce no glare making them perfect displays for brightly-lit rooms. 

Canvas prints look professional and stylish in any setting making them ideal for business or formal settings. Split canvases are also an option, allowing homeowners to extend an image or hang it up in interesting ways, while the elevated borders bring the image to life.

You can pair photographic prints with digital prints to create a distinctive wall decoration. 

Wall Murals 

For a bolder choice, murals are a great way to decorate any wall. This example of wall art absorbs a larger space and creates a grand, immersive impression to spark inspiration in a home, office, or public space. 

Beautiful, patterned wallpapers such as florals or colourful motifs for kids can also be used as a method to enhance the mood of any room. There is an endless list of background options from nature to city skylines and these can be realistic or abstract.

To set up a wall mural, simply measure the length and breadth of the wall and use powdered glue to stick it down to the wall, smoothing it over to avoid any air bubbles from forming.  

Wall Pictures

Wall pictures such as printed graphic designs and patterns create a modern, clean addition to any wall. There is a varied display of trendy images available which can be framed or mounted alone. Striking, vibrant images of modern designs, paintings, and popular magazine covers can express individual personality and interests.

Maintenance

Canvas Prints

• Dust frequently with a scratch-free cloth ( preferably on a weekly basis with a microfibre cloth). Take down the canvas to dust it to prevent it from falling. 
• Wipe clean with a slightly damp, scratch-free cloth if necessary. Never use solvents or detergents, these will damage the cotton in the canvas and dissolve the ink.
• Avoid storing in extremely humid or hot places. If stored in a humid area, with dust and moisture in the air, a grimy layer can form; this may be difficult to remove without damaging the print. 
• The wood used to make the canvases can also swell or warp with time if exposed to intense heat or moisture.
•  Don’t store canvases in airtight containers or behind glass, as trapped moisture can cause damage.

Framed Prints

• If the frame is wooden, a wood polish may be necessary to keep the wood healthy. Try to use only organic oils or wax. 
• Spray a bit of dust cleaner onto a microfibre cloth and wipe down the frame but never spray directly onto the frame.
• Wipe the frame down and use window cleaner, preferably ammonia-free, to clean the glass after removing it from the frame. To get rid of any particles wipe down the print gently with a dry microfiber cloth. 
• Avoid getting then picture-framed prints wet. This can damage both the print and the wood. 
• Hanging a picture frame somewhere where there is a lot of humidity or heat, such as over a fireplace or in a poorly ventilated bathroom can make the frame more susceptible to warping or bowing.
