It’s a good idea to empty your wood-fuelled fire pit after every use—especially if used for a long period. This will prevent ash from building up in it, which can become a problem if the wind blows it through your garden or outdoor living area.

How far should a fire pit be from the house?

Accepted Answer

It’s recommended to keep your fire pit between 3 and 5 metres away from your house. This will reduce the risk of fire. At the end of the night, make sure your fire pit is turned off or the fire is out.
