About us
It all started when…Shortly after Daniel Lever finished his joinery trade certificate, he started building joinery items for friends and family in his back yard, using not much more than hand tools.
It didn’t take long before the backyard became inadequate and Daniel realised the need for a workshop.
From there he created a small quality joinery business, which he continued to run successfully for over 34 years and it has become a reputable company in the area known for quality workmanship.
Recently the company has changed ownership, with Daniel handing over the reigns to two young men that go by the names of Nick Chatfield & Emile Thomson. Nick & Emile look to continue with the morals and workmanship Daniel has established in the company and to also add to this, their knowledge of the industry to enable A.one to grow to its full potential.
Nick & Emile are far from new to the industry with over 30 years of combined knowledge in the building industry. They have worked together in the joinery industry for the past 8 years having known each other for 18 years. Nick & Emile are hugely passionate about the industry, are excited about the new venture and look forward to working with new and existing clients.
Our Team
Nick Chatfield - Director
Nick started his career in the carpentry sector before moving into the joinery industry where he has been for the last 8 years. Nick is no stranger to the industry having grown up in a family owned joinery business. He is proficient in all aspects of the industry with a particular focus in working with customers, both private and commercial and with the staff in the factory.
Nick has four children who keep him busy. He enjoys spending time with family, hunting, fishing and boating.
Emile Thomson - Director
Emile has been in the joinery industry since the young age of 15 working at various businesses in a few different roles. These opportunities have provided him with an excellent understanding of the industry and he believes in the need to keep up with the changing times. He is experienced in all aspects of joinery from large commercial projects to high-end kitchens with his main passion being in system developments.
Emile has two young daughters, Vienna and Savannah. You’ll find him anytime there is sunshine on the lake with his family.
A.one Team
The A.one team is small but very skilled in their field. We pride ourselves on working hard together to create a quality final product for our customers. Each member has equal importance contributing their specialised skills along with the design to construction journey.
