We are a locally owned and operated business based in Katikati. A Waihi Beach local, Mark Rickard has 23 years of experience in the building industry. He left Waihi and obtained his apprenticeship, gaining vast experience in commercial construction, working mainly on Schools, tilt-panel construction & warehousing. He then spent four years focused on residential building in the Tauranga area, specialising in high-end architecturally designed homes. Mark returned to the area and established Acumen Construction in 2007. He is a licenced building practitioner with a Carpentry & Site S2 builders licence. Servicing Waihi, Waihi Beach, Katikati, Whangamata, Omokoroa, Tauranga.
