Artisan Builders

Artisan Builders is a residential building company who has undertaken a wide range of work that encompasses every facet of residential work- renovations, restoration and new homes. We were originally a family business being the second generation of builders who are now employing and training a third generation. We initially worked for many family and friends as well as tendering competitively for architects. We cut our teeth doing renovation work and this continues to provide the mainstay of our work.

“An Artisan is a skilled craft worker who makes or creates by using his or her hands. Artisans over the centuries through practicing their craft have through their experience and aptitude reached the expressive levels of an artist. The Japanese artisan also has the implication of pride in one’s work – not just having the technical skill but also having an attitude and social consciousness…“

Significantly a large part of our work has been for repeat clients who recognise the value of our experience and service. We have always enjoyed working collaboratively with our clients, their architects and designers to ensure the best outcome. Our builders and extensive team of subcontractors are managed on your behalf so that your project proceeds smoothly with clear financial tracking.
