Over 30 years, Ben has developed his childhood love of gardening and honed his skills as a creative director, designer and owner of a successful landscaping company, working on some of Australia's greatest private homes and with some of Australia’s greatest designers and architects.
Ben has a unique creative perspective, having developed his design aesthetic from an innate love and understanding of plants, getting his hands on the earth himself and running a successful brand for over 20 years.
Ben opened Pod Landscaping in Melbourne in the late 1990s, having studied at Burnley College and working with local landscapers. His move to Sydney in 2000, bringing Pod with him, saw him hired by Leo Schofield to help care for the garden at Bronte House while under Leo's guardianship.
Not content to only focus on his own designs, Ben worked with other notable designers, Pod Landscaping undertaking the building of designers' gardens, to the highest standards.
Ben is proud to be designing beautiful gardens working with internationally renowned architects.
He divides his time between Sydney and Kangaroo Valley, NSW.
