A big THANK YOU to Kane and his wonderful team at BIM for bringing to life our overdue appartment renovations. We had an old 1960 apartment that needed a complete make over. Two walls were also knocked down to make way for our brand new open plan kitchen and dining room so we could enjoy the beautiful view onto the Wellington harbour. Kane has been very professional, attentive, and easy to talk to from the beginning of our project. We liked it that he was always responding promptly to our messages and keeping us in the loop every step of the way. I liked it that we received a weekly video updating us on the project. The building team led by Jordy was also amazing to deliver our apartment back on time!!

We know that we can trust BIM Projects to do the best job and provide the best quality work for us. We decided to move to New Zealand, and as part of that, we bought a house and decided to fix it up before moving in. A lot of what BIM Projects assisted us with was scoping and asking the right questions—probing questions that helped us think more about what we were trying to achieve and any potential risks.

BIM Projects was fundamental in getting everything together, and the process has been pretty straightforward. Kane and his team have been really good at providing communications and updates. If we run into any problems, Kane is always on the phone, ready to solve them.

Once a week, usually midweek, Kane’s crew sends us a video walkthrough of the house, showing us what they’ve done during the week and raising any questions or issues they encountered, as well as any feedback they need from us. This has made us feel very comfortable and at ease.

It’s nice having someone with experience and the right contacts. We’ve heard from friends who have worked with other builders that they don’t get that kind of communication—they’re often left in the dark and have to chase their builders. We’ve never had that issue with Kane. If I were to do this again, I would just go with BIM Projects again.

They say you should never go above 100%, but I am willing to say I trust BIM Projects 101%! They came in on time and under budget. The work was done to a high standard which to us was very important. Not to sound corny, but this was the best tradie experience we have ever had as home owners.

We cannot recommend BIM Projects highly enough for their construction services. From the initial consultation to the final touches, Kane and the team exhibited professionalism and expertise. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality were evident in every aspect of the project and the result exceeded our expectations. Kane and his team were awesome throughout. Highly organised, highly skilled, professional and they did a high quality job in the time frame estimated.

The finish on everything they did was very high. They were also all friendly, fun guys to have on site, and were excellent to work as a team with throughout. We’re stoked with the final result.

I chose BIM Projects Ltd to do an initial on site review and quote. They were a great bunch of people and you could tell they had worked on a few projects together, which was a big help.

We discussed with BIM Projects Ltd which order we wanted to do the bathrooms in, and decided it was best to start with the main bathroom, followed by the ensuite.

How do you feel about the end results?
“Awfully happy,” Dave says.
Anything we saw that didn’t meet our expectations at the time was rectified straight away.
Everything was kept clean and tidy around the site, and as a result the bathrooms are in a really great condition — and they look great too!

Kane and his team were excellent to deal with from start to finish. Kane put a lot of effort into understanding what we were wanting and whilst his quote wasn’t the cheapest, it was fair for the quality we received.

His builders were super professional and helpful (and friendly which was an added bonus) and the plasterer was super fast. He also organised an electrician super last minute who was great.

Kane and his team are friendly and reliable, they do a great job and Kane always lets us know if the weather or anything else is going to cause any delay. BIM Projects are everything we look for in a building company.
