1. Initial Contact

Our first step will be a phone call to introduce ourselves and gain a proper understanding of your wants and needs in regard to your building project. This ensures we can offer you the service you require.

2. Meet in Person

We want to learn more about you and your vision for your building project. Brad will meet with you to find out what is important to you and your family, and what you want to achieve. Show any ideas, plans or pictures you have of what you like. During this meeting, Brad will also discuss with you timeframes, any Council consents which you may require, which contract would best suit your project and a general idea of costs.

We will also leave you with our Company Information pack containing more detailed information about our company and how we work so you can get to know us better, as well as inspiration to help you with ideas for your project.

3. Plans & Design

We can arrange pricing from your existing plans, or if you don’t have any we can recommend architects that we have a close relationship with and who can help you achieve your vision. This is one of the most important stages where you work with your architect to arrive at the perfect solution for your home.

We offer all our clients a FREE interior design concept plan (T & C's apply) with one of our preferred interior designers, Katie McEwan from Katie McEwan Interiors. Whether it be bathroom fittings, tile selection or paint colour, Katie will be able to give you a clear vision and direction.

4. Working Drawings

At this stage, our architect will complete the working drawings and documentation ready for application for building consent (if required) and pricing.

5. Pricing

We offer both ‘fixed quote’ and ‘charge up’ contracts, we'll discuss these with you to discover which best suits you and your project. Both options are through Certified Builders, so you can feel 100% confident you are in safe hands and start your build with real peace of mind.

6. Signing & Documentation

Once you are happy with the price and timeframes, together we sign all contracts including the Certified Builders Contract and Brad Richards Building's personal guarantee.

7. Construction

Construction begins. Since we believe communication is critical to a successful build we will have a pre-start construction meeting on-site, as well as ongoing weekly meetings to keep you informed of how your build is going, step by step.

8. Completion

The build is completed to highest standard, a final inspection is carried out and the keys are handed over to you. It is time for you to enjoy your newly renovated property or newly built home.

On completion of all our projects we offer a FREE professional clean from one of our trusted cleaning partners so your home is spotless.

• Ensure site safety. Staff and contractor safety is imperative, so we ensure all staff on site hold a current Site Safe Passport and all trades are inducted before commencing work.
• Ensure the quality of your build using highly qualified and trained tradespeople.
• Are tidy. We passionately believe that a tidy site reflects the personality of the builder and his staff. The site is tidied at the end of each day to ensure safety, productivity and quality of work.
