About

Our aim is to be the catalyst for a quality building outcome. We'll do this by delivering high quality workmanship, listening to and truly understanding our clients needs and exceeding expectations. We stand out for our transparency, integrity, intelligence and great work.

Catalyst Construction Ltd is owned and managed by husband and wife team Karl and Erin Braithwaite. Managing Director, Karl has over 15 years experience in the building industry, and has worked in London, Manchester, Sydney and Auckland.

Karl is the Chairperson of the Eastern Branch of the Master Builders Association (Auckland), a Master Builders Apprentice of the Year Judge and is an active member in the Building Industry.

Prior to completing his Trade Certificate in Carpentry, Karl completed a Bachelor of Leisure Studies at the University of Waikato and also trained as PADI Dive Instructor. This varied background contributes to his ability to run a successful business, communicate well with clients and stakeholders and mentor and train staff.

Catalyst Construction has a strong team of qualified and experienced builders who are selected to join the team based not only on thier exceptional carpentry skills, but also on their fit with the Catalyst Construction values.
