With experience in all areas of residential builds – turn-key house packages, architectural builds, renovations and alterations of older homes – our team of accomplished builders and project managers expertly guide our clients through the design and building process from start to finish. Every build is unique, bespoke to the individual requirements of each client, no two design processes or project detailing will ever be the same. Commercial
Whilst here at Chris Bell Construction we are well known for our high end residential builds, we have steadily been accumulating a strong commercial portfolio since our conception 15 years ago.

As with our residential projects, our commercial work is hugely varied. We are proud to maintain and upkeep 29 fire stations here in Taranaki and across the Central Plateau. We have been involved in specialist work in hospitals where unique challenges arise working within operating theatres and building to adhere to infection control regulations. Acquisition of plant and specialist machinery such as a crane, scissor lifts and a digger among other equipment, ensures that we are equipped to tackle more complex and technically challenging builds such as hotels, apartments complexes and office blocks.

Chris Bell Construction has a broad range of experience across the commercial/vertical sector and a team that is adaptable and thrives when tasked with a challenge. Our builders and project managers have a breadth and depth of knowledge about the commercial construction industry, are dedicated to adapting to and incorporating new technologies and driven to deliver exceptional results to our clients.

Industrial
The industrial arm of Chris Bell Construction has grown considerably over the past 10 years. We are fortunate to have a team of skilled and knowledgeable staff with the right qualifications to support this specialist area of work. Being ISN certified to ensure regulatory compliance enables us to enjoy preferred contractor status with large companies in the energy sector, food and bulk storage facilities and manufacturing industries.

We have a wealth of experience with technically challenging builds and are particularly proud of the work we have done within the industrial construction sector working, designing, implementing, building and constructing IL4* rated buildings. These challenging projects often involve high levels of risk which our builders and project managers meet with technical proficiency and accuracy. We have worked on telecommunications towers, power substations, plants, warehouses and hospitals, both here in Taranaki and across the lower North Island.

With a highly skilled and driven team armed with the latest technology and specialist equipment and machinery, we thrive on the technically challenging nature of the projects that we undertake in the industrial construction sector.

The IL rating system is designed to measure the potential risk to people and environment should a building or part of it fail. IL4 – Buildings that are essential to post-disaster recovery or associated with hazardous facilities.

We are now able to offer the hire of the following specialist equipment and machinery: Conveyors, forklifts, a digger, crane, truck, scissor lifts, scaffolding – propping and fencing equipment. Price on application.
