Coloured Concrete // Coloured concrete is a stylish option that can have a dramatic impact for driveways, patios, paths and floors. It can be stamped, to create a natural stone finish, or cut to create the look of pavers whilst retaining the integrity of one piece of concrete.

With decorative concrete you can mix and match colours and textures to create something unique that can complement the colours in your home or surroundings.

Coloured concrete is suitable for private residences, or commercial projects.

Exposed Aggregate // Exposed Aggregates are achieved by washing away the top layer of concrete to leave the surface layer of aggregate exposed. Exposed aggregate concrete utilises an extensive range of materials sourced from throughout the South Island. Choose from this standard range or work with our experts to design a unique look and feel, suitable for your home or premises.

Exposed Aggregate can be uncoloured, or black oxide can be added to darken the base and enhance the aggregate. This can be particularly eyecatching if you have darker joinery, or to create a contrast against a light coloured cladding. Lighter or coloured stones can be seeded to further enhance the look. Ask our experts for advice.

Commercial/Roading Kerbs // CKC's Kerbing Division works for corporate clients on commercial sites, roading projects or subdivisions.

Last year (2020) we poured in excess of 20,000m2 of concrete and laid over 40,000m of kerbing. Currently employing 18 staff, we have the capacity to lay more and operate over the entire South Island.
