Pete and his team of craftsmen have built for us a high end, top quality, architecturally designed home that we continually get comments on from people walking by. The quality of finish is evident to all.

From the moment we were introduced to Pete, we had a feeling that he was going to build our dream home. Pete proved to us that nothing is too much to expect, never to settle for second best, its ok to make as many small, and some not so small, changes to our plans as we went through our build.

Pete was heavily involved in the working drawings stage, making great cost saving suggestions, simplifying design options while retaining a unique style right through to literally staining our cedar once the build was complete.

We have already recommended Pete to other people in our subdivision and would have no hesitation to recommend his services to anyone considering building. He was better priced, better finished and better to deal with than any of the big build companies we visited.

“We engaged Condor Construction to build our dream home in our dream location and now live in a dream come true”.

Following negotiations with McLaren insurance adjusters I engaged Condor Construction Ltd to carry out a rebuild of my house which was destroyed by fire in July 2020.

I wished to retain the overall character of the architect designed original structure but at the same time upgrading to current construction code requirements and improving some aspects of internal layout.

These included a complete remodelling of kitchen and also of laundry area so as to give full wheelchair accessibility to accommodate the needs of my mother who had become hemiplegic following a stroke which occurred shortly before the build was started. The addition of built-in ramps and deck modifications were also able to be included.

Peter Conder has a very positive attitude and cheerfully undertook the many challenges involved in this work despite the many added hassles and delays resulting from the severe Covid 19 shutdown supply and labour difficulties.

Because of his previous experience as a building inspector Peter was also exceptionally well qualified to handle compliance issues and to negotiate fair variation settlements with insurers.

Peter was willing to give full hands-on assistance at crucial stages of the build and his amiable team followed this example. His chosen tradesmen too, with very few exceptions, proved to be very efficient.

I am absolutely delighted with the final result, as would have been my mother, who sadly passed away shortly before the build was completed.
